Associate Psychologist (NY HELPS), St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center
In addition to the above duties, you may also perform the following duties: supervise psychological services provided by clinical staff; evaluate information from mental health units, probation, parole, district attorneys' offices, etc.; assist in determining the need for admission to a secure treatment facility or release to strict and intensive community supervision and treatment; develop, review, and oversee behavior management plans and/or treatment plans; and develop and conduct psychology-related training for all levels of direct care and clinical staff. - Statewide (NY HELPS) program if they have a doctoral degree in a clinical field of psychology AND either a one year full-time pre-doctoral clinical internship OR one year of experience under the supervision of a licensed psychologist in a clinical settingORCandidates within State Service can be considered transfer to a competitive class position if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.
