No County St Lawrence Street Address St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center 1 Chimney Point Road City Ogdensburg State NY Zip Code 13669 Duties Description St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center (SLPC) is currently recruiting a Licensed Psychologist to provide professional psychological services to individuals with mental illness. Psychologists at SLPC are part of an interdisciplinary treatment team and provide assessment and treatment to individuals with mental illness including:
- Providing clinical leadership and program management
- Conducting forensic or court-ordered assessments
- Providing treatment and expert testimony
- Providing individual, group, or family therapy and crisis intervention
- Maintaining records and documentation Minimum Qualifications Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement - Statewide (NY HELPS) program if they are licensed and currently registered to practice Psychology in New York State.
