Qualifications & Skills:
Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention practices Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Experience providing direct services and participating in IEP meetings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to support student needs Offer individual and group counseling to address social, academic, and emotional concerns Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for intervention planning Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) Promote a positive learning environment and advocate for students' mental health and academic success Maintain accurate records and comply with all district, state, and federal guidelines
