Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting educational success as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite, full-time opportunity is based near Syracuse, NY and provides the chance to make a true difference in students' lives. You'll be contributing to a collaborative environment, delivering essential assessments and leading CSE meetings to champion student needs. What we're seeking: Current and valid NY School Psychologist certification Demonstrated experience or training as a
CSE/CPSE
Chairperson is strongly preferred Proficient in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively Detail-oriented and adept at documenting findings and recommendations Previous experience working in school settings is a plus Key responsibilities: Administer, score, and interpret a range of psychological assessments for students Act as Chairperson for CSE meetings, facilitating collaboration among team members and stakeholders Prepare clear, concise reports and present results to teams and families Support individualized education program (IEP) development with data-driven insights Consult with educators, administrators, and families to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs Assist in crisis intervention and support within the school community Maintain compliance with state and federal Special Education regulations Benefits you'll enjoy in this contract position include highly competitive hourly compensation between $50 and $60, designed to recognize your expertise and impact.
