Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Psychologist for a 60-day assignment in New York, commencing Oct 12, 2026. This role involves a consistent 8:00am - 4:30pm schedule, with responsibilities including initial psychology intake consults, suicide watch evaluations, comprehensive testing and assessments, and conducting individual and group therapy sessions. Responsibilities and Duties Conduct initial psychology intake consults Perform suicide watch evaluations Work alongside case managers and psychiatric practitioners Provide follow-up care as needed Refer to staff psychiatrists and medical teams as needed for medication management Administer testing, evaluations, and psychological and intellectual assessments Assist with forensic evaluations upon request Complete reporting and charting accurately Develop diagnosis and treatment plans for each patient Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions Offer supervision for masters level staff Work within a residential program unit as required Additional Information The client services patients with a range of mental health conditions, including schizophrenia, psychosis, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, addiction medicine, behavioral challenges, and intellectual disabilities.
