Behavioral Specialist Duties:
The Behavior Specialist will observe students in educational settings, analyze data, and conduct informal assessments to collaborate with school psychologists and staff in developing plans (including FBA/BIP) that promote student success. Model and support the implementation of behavior intervention strategies, classroom management plans, PBIS, and RTI initiatives, providing ongoing consultation and follow-up to evaluate effectiveness and make necessary adjustments. Deliver regional and on-site professional development to include SEL support, behavior modification techniques, CPI training, and in-service workshops, while collaborating with school personnel to strengthen district-wide behavioral and instructional practices.
Qualifications:
Certification as a School Psychologist, eligible for or CPI certified

Madison-Oneida BOCES Verona Campus, Alternative & Special Education Term of Employment:
Full time - 10-month
Salary:
Contingent upon education and experience and according to the Madison-Oneida BOCES Teacher Contract.
