Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students as a contract School Psychologist working full-time in a dynamic educational setting near Ada, OH. In this rewarding role, you will provide critical support and guidance to students, collaborate with dedicated educators, and help create a nurturing learning environment. Your expertise will drive positive outcomes for children of all backgrounds and needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Experience working in a school or educational setting preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, administrators, and families Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Compassion, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to helping students thrive
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations Develop, implement, and monitor interventions tailored to individual student needs Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to create and review IEPs and 504 plans Offer counseling and support services to students individually and in groups Provide crisis intervention and guidance for students and staff Collaborate with teachers and families to address barriers to learning and promote student well-being This contract position offers the opportunity to engage with a supportive school community while advancing your skills and career as a School Psychologist.
