School Psych - Hilliard, Ohio Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Hilliard, OH Job Details Contract 9 hours ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a mental health professional Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school district in Hilliard, OH, is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a contract position. This role involves working directly within the school environment to support student learning and development through psychological assessments, interventions, and collaboration with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs. Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student behavior, learning styles, and mental health. Develop and implement intervention strategies to promote positive educational outcomes. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student support plans. Monitor and report on student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology. Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist. Experience with psychological assessment tools and interventions in an educational setting. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations. Knowledge of state and federal education regulations.
