Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in educational settings as a Full-Time School Psychologist on a contract basis. This rewarding opportunity places you at the heart of supporting students' development, collaborating with educators, and fostering inclusive learning environments. In this role, you will utilize your assessment and counseling expertise to address a wide range of student needs, promoting emotional, behavioral, and academic success. Your professional insights will guide interventions, recommendations, and positive change within school communities.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid and current school psychologist certification or licensure (or eligibility) Experience with student testing and evaluation procedures Familiarity with special education laws and individualized education plans (IEPs) Skilled in consultation, collaboration, and effective communication with students, families, and staff Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and communicate findings Provide direct interventions and counseling to students individually or in groups Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that support student achievement Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development Offer guidance on behavioral and academic interventions, crisis response, and prevention programs Stay current with best practices, legal requirements, and professional standards in school psychology
