Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a full-time School Psychologist working in a contract position near Ottawa, OH. This role will allow you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development through expert psychological services. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and fellow school professionals to create a positive and productive school environment.
Key Experience & Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Active certification or license as a School Psychologist (Ohio licensure required) Proven experience conducting student assessments, developing intervention plans, and supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of evidence-based practices in academic and behavioral assessment Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team Compassion for students of diverse backgrounds and needs
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs Provide targeted interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student achievement Assist with crisis intervention and provide counseling as needed Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to IEP processes Help design and support school-wide prevention and mental health initiatives Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with regulations This contract role offers exposure to a dynamic and supportive educational setting where your professional skills and dedication will be highly valued.
