Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact across all grade levels in a vibrant district near Sylvania, OH! This full-time, contract position spans the entire school year, providing vital support for K-12 students throughout the district. While no PreK assessments are currently expected, you'll play a key role in providing psycho-educational evaluations, collaborating on intervention strategies, and supporting educational teams with expert consultation services.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Active School Psychologist license in Ohio, or candidates obtaining licensure over the summer Experience with psycho-educational assessments in K-12 educational settings Strong knowledge of intervention planning and consultation techniques Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families Ability to adapt to district-wide needs and work with students from diverse backgrounds Commitment to supporting student success and promoting positive educational environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for students across all grade levels (K-12) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement evidence-based interventions Offer consultation services to teachers, administrators, and parents regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns Interpret assessment results for IEP and eligibility meetings Document all services in compliance with district and state requirements Maintain a flexible approach to addressing district-wide priorities and supporting student achievement
