Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for an experienced School Psychologist to make a positive impact across a district serving K-12 students. This full-time, contract position is available for the entire upcoming school year and focuses on providing essential psycho-educational assessment, intervention planning, and consultative support to students and staff. In this district-wide role, you will collaborate with a variety of educational professionals, assist with student evaluations, and offer critical insights to help guide interventions. While this position currently does not include PreK assessments, you will be working with diverse student populations across multiple grade levels.
Qualifications:
Current Ohio School Psychologist license, or ability to obtain licensure before the school year begins (candidates actively licensing over the summer are encouraged to apply) Graduate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Previous experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred Strong knowledge of psycho-educational assessment tools and best practices Excellent consultation, collaboration, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for K-12 students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor individualized student plans Provide guidance on evidence-based interventions and support strategies Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, offering data-driven recommendations Consult with staff regarding student progress, behavioral support, and crisis intervention as needed This position offers the chance to work closely with a supportive district team and make a lasting difference in the lives of students.
