Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal position supporting student success as a full-time school psychologist on a contract basis. In this important role, your expertise will help shape a positive educational experience for students by delivering comprehensive psychological services within a school setting near Wapakoneta, OH. As a valued part of the education team, you'll collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to promote academic, behavioral, and emotional growth for all students.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field Experience providing psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and interventions in a school environment Strong knowledge of IDEA and current special education regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct academic and behavioral assessments to identify student strengths and needs Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in eligibility and review meetings Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families Implement evidence-based interventions to improve learning outcomes and social-emotional development Support crisis intervention and prevention initiatives as needed Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant guidelines and deadlines
