Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and valid School Psychologist certification or license. Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field. Previous experience working in K-12 school settings preferred. Familiarity with developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and conducting psychoeducational assessments. Strong knowledge of behavioral interventions and support strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and students. Proficiency in report writing and documentation.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to determine students' academic, emotional, and social needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized interventions and support plans. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents in the development and review of IEPs. Deliver individual and group counseling to address students' needs and challenges. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support student growth and achievement. Provide crisis intervention services and help cultivate a positive learning atmosphere across the school community. Maintain accurate and confidential records, reports, and documentation in compliance with all applicable guidelines.
