School Psych - Portland, Oregon ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Portland, OR Job Details Part-time | Contract 7 hours ago Qualifications School experience School psychology Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact supporting student success by providing school psychology services in a dynamic K-12 educational setting near Portland, OR. This contract position offers part-time hours for the 2026-2027 school year, featuring a consistent weekday schedule within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current and valid Oregon TSPC license required Background in conducting student assessments and evaluations for eligibility Experience with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Manifestation Determination reviews Familiarity and comfort implementing the PSW model for SLD identification Demonstrated capacity for effective teamwork and collaboration with staff and families Prior exposure to, or a strong interest in, working within rural communities is highly valued
Core Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services Administer FBAs and participate in manifestation determination processes Collaborate on crisis prevention and planning for students in need of intensive support Partner closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address student needs and enhance outcomes Utilize culturally responsive and strengths-based practices throughout all services Document findings clearly for Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and compliance records
Position Details:
