Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' growth in a dynamic educational environment as a school psychologist on a contract basis. Work alongside passionate educators, offering vital expertise in psychological assessment and student welfare, while promoting positive change for students of all backgrounds.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current and valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with students in K-12 settings preferred Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Compassionate and student-centered approach Familiarity with educational law, best practices, and ethical guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education and intervention plans Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary Facilitate social, behavioral, and emotional support programs and counseling Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address students' academic and mental health needs Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements Deliver on-going consultation and recommendations for instructional and behavioral strategies This contract role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive school community and help shape a positive educational experience for students.
