We are seeking a dedicated and motivated School Psychologist Intern to join our team on a full-time basis. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a diverse educational setting, working alongside certified psychologists and other various education professionals. The intern will assist in providing school based psychoeducational evaluations to students, collaborating with child study teams (CST) all while gaining experience in a school-based setting and adhering to ethical guidelines and professional standards.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with school psychologists in conducting psychoeducational Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with FERPA regulations. Attend team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions as required Engage in continuous professional development through supervision and training opportunities. Support administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling assessments and managing stakeholder communications. Observe and learn from certified, experienced school-based professionals. Performs other related duties as assigned. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be in a School Psychologist program and provide a letter from the college or university indicting eligibility. Completion of coursework in psychological assessment, counseling techniques, and ethics. Knowledge and basic understanding of IDEA, Exceptional Children's Education Act, and other relevant pieces of legislation. Knowledge of current psychological techniques including the administration and interpretation of various assessment tools Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and professional development. Evidence of organization, planning and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus. Must be able to pass a background check and adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the field of psychology. Submission of a report of criminal history record from the Pennsylvania State Police (Section 111 of the Pennsylvania School Code) Nonresidents and Pennsylvania residents who have not resided in the Commonwealth for at least two years prior to the date of application for employment are required to obtain an FBI Criminal History Record Submission of a clearance report from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare in accordance with Act 151 of 1994 Submission of the Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form as required under Act 24 of 2011 Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptablePHYSICAL DEMANDS
