Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting students' academic and emotional growth as a dedicated school psychologist for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers the ability to positively impact students, collaborate with educators, and ensure all learners receive the support they need to thrive.
Essential Qualifications:
Valid and active Pennsylvania School Psychologist Certification (PA School Psych Cert) is required Master's or higher degree from an accredited school psychology program Evidence of comprehensive skills in assessment, evaluation, and intervention practices Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and familiarity with special education eligibility processes Exceptional communication, collaboration, and consultation skills with students, families, and professionals Ability to maintain accurate records, manage confidential information, and balance multiple tasks Previous school-based experience is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify students' strengths and needs Develop and interpret Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), collaborating actively with multidisciplinary teams Deliver evidence-based interventions, crisis support, counseling, and consultative services to students Participate in eligibility meetings, re-evaluation reviews, and team conferences Engage in prevention and early intervention strategies to foster student well-being and academic achievement Provide support and guidance to staff and families, promoting a positive educational environment If you are passionate about making a difference in students' lives and meet the above criteria, we encourage you to apply.
