Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity available for an experienced School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact during the 2026-27 academic year! This part-time, contract role is ideal for professionals who value flexibility, collaboration, and supporting student success. With a schedule of just two days per week—one day at a school in Shickshinny and another at a technical center in Pringle—you'll have the chance to work with diverse learner populations in dynamic educational settings.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification Experience in K-12 school environments preferred Strong communication and consultation skills with staff, students, and families Ability to administer psychological assessments and interpret test results Proficiency in developing data-driven interventions and recommendations Commitment to promoting equity, inclusion, and student well-being Collaborative spirit and flexible approach to workflow
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students, determining strengths and areas of need Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct consultation and recommendations to staff members on academic and behavioral strategies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and required supports Assist with crisis intervention, as needed, to ensure student safety and mental health Maintain documentation in compliance with organizational, state, and federal guidelines This is a fantastic role for School Psychologists seeking a part-time schedule to balance professional growth with personal commitments.
