Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' success as a School Psychologist through an engaging contract role located near Dover, PA. In this position, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and fellow specialists to foster a supportive learning environment and help students reach their full potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting educational and behavioral assessments
- Familiarity with developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to interpret educational and psychological data effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
- Proven organizational and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify student needs
- Develop recommendations and interventions to promote academic, emotional, and behavioral success
- Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings, providing expert input
- Support crisis intervention, behavioral consultations, and functional behavioral assessments
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports in accordance with school requirements
