Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' success as a School Psychologist through an engaging contract role located near Dover, PA. In this position, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and fellow specialists to foster a supportive learning environment and help students reach their full potential.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Active certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting educational and behavioral assessments
  • Familiarity with developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Ability to interpret educational and psychological data effectively
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
  • Proven organizational and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify student needs
  • Develop recommendations and interventions to promote academic, emotional, and behavioral success
  • Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings, providing expert input
  • Support crisis intervention, behavioral consultations, and functional behavioral assessments
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports in accordance with school requirements
