Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' success as a School Psychologist through an engaging contract role located near Dover, PA. In this position, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and fellow specialists to foster a supportive learning environment and help students reach their full potential.
Desired Qualifications:
Active certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience conducting educational and behavioral assessments
Familiarity with developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Ability to interpret educational and psychological data effectively
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Proven organizational and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify student needs
Develop recommendations and interventions to promote academic, emotional, and behavioral success
Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings, providing expert input
Support crisis intervention, behavioral consultations, and functional behavioral assessments
Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports in accordance with school requirements
