School Psychologist - Leetsdale, PA Leetsdale, PA Job Details Contract 4 days ago Qualifications Practicing as a mental health professional Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support a K-12 school in Leetsdale, PA, with an immediate start. This role is designed to provide overlap coverage before the current school psychologist begins leave, extending through the end of the school year (approximately the first week of June). Working alongside two experienced school psychologists on campus, you will benefit from available mentorship and collaboration throughout the engagement. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, collaborating with educators and parents, developing intervention plans, and supporting student mental health and educational outcomes across all grade levels. You will play a key role in identifying student needs and contributing to a positive learning environment.
Qualifications and desired experience:
Valid school psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for the state of Pennsylvania Experience working with K-12 students in public or private school settings Strong skills in psychoeducational assessment, behavioral interventions, and consultation Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide mentorship support Knowledge of state education regulations and special education processes
