Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the academic and personal lives of students by providing your expertise as a School Psychologist in a contract role. This opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with educational professionals, students, and families in fostering a positive learning environment and supporting student growth.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related field Valid and current certification as a School Psychologist Experience working within K-12 school settings is highly valued Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), functional behavior assessments, and behavior intervention plans Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Commitment to professional growth and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students referred to special education services Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to design interventions supporting academic and social-emotional success Support the implementation of positive behavioral supports at the individual and school-wide level Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expertise and guidance Deliver individual and group counseling as needed Maintain accurate and confidentiality-compliant student records Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and response Find satisfaction in making a tangible impact within the school community through direct student support, collaboration, and advocacy.
