Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Pennsylvania Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Prior experience working in a K-12 school setting is highly valued Strong knowledge of psychological and educational assessment tools and practices Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent communication skills for collaborative work with students, staff, and families Adaptable and empathetic approach, with a commitment to supporting diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, assessments, and observations to identify student strengths and challenges Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop effective intervention strategies Help create, review, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with educators and families Provide individual and group counseling to address students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to inform instructional strategies and accommodations Support school-wide initiatives around crisis intervention, behavioral intervention, and positive school climate Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines As a contract professional in this role, you will make meaningful contributions to students' educational experiences while gaining valuable exposure in diverse school settings.
