School Psychologist - Pittsburgh, PA Soliant - 3.9 Pittsburgh, PA Job Details Full-time | Contract 16 hours ago Qualifications Behavioral psychological assessments Individual psychological assessments Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated School Psychologist interested in a full-time assignment covering a maternity leave from August 17 through mid-November—with a strong possibility of extension through the remainder of the school year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification as a School Psychologist Experience in conducting a range of evaluations and assessments Strong communication and report writing skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families Familiarity with counseling techniques for children and adolescents is preferred Previous school-based experience is highly valued
Role Responsibilities:
Lead and administer comprehensive evaluations and assessments to support students' academic, emotional, and behavioral success Prepare detailed psychological reports and communicate findings with educational teams and families Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering expertise to develop personalized student support plans Provide direct counseling services to students as needed, fostering well-being and resilience Consult with teachers, staff, and families to implement evidence-based interventions and strategies Maintain accurate records and comply with federal, state, and district guidelines This full-time, contract role provides a fulfilling opportunity to support students' growth and collaborate with a dedicated educational community.
