Job Description

Make a meaningful difference working as a part-time School Psychologist with a dynamic educational team near Pittsburgh, PA. In this contract position, you'll support elementary-aged students by conducting functional behavioral assessments (FBAs), as well as performing initial evaluations and re-evaluations. Your expertise in fostering positive learning environments and providing targeted psychological services will be instrumental in helping students thrive both emotionally and academically.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold a valid certification as a School Psychologist Proven experience with FBAs, initial evaluations, and re-evaluations in a school setting Strong understanding of child development and elementary school interventions Solid communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and sensitivity Organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities in a flexible environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive FBAs and develop behavioral recommendations Carry out initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students, interpreting and documenting findings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support each student's individualized educational needs Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to the development of IEPs and support plans Provide guidance regarding student interventions and crisis prevention strategies Maintain accurate records and uphold ethical practice standards In this supportive setting, you'll enjoy the opportunity to create meaningful change in students' daily lives while maintaining a balanced schedule.
