Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, working full-time with a vibrant K-4 student community of approximately 500 learners. This role is located in the vicinity of York, PA, and is suited for professionals who excel at evaluations, assessments, and occasional student counseling within an elementary education setting. Your expertise will provide crucial support to students, educators, and families—contributing to a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active license or certification as a School Psychologist Experience or strong interest in K-4 age groups Demonstrated skills in student evaluations and assessments Familiarity with developing and implementing intervention strategies Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological and educational assessments for K-4 students Interpret test results and provide feedback to educators and families Deliver targeted counseling services as needed Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to develop individualized plans Maintain accurate records and documentation for all assessments and interventions Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Support the emotional and academic well-being of students
