Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Associate License Okay if you have appropriate supervision! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and experience working with individuals from all walks of life. We are an LGBTQ+ Friendly and neurodivergent-supporting practice, so experience with these populations is helpful. Your role as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist involves providing appropriate psychological testing and relevant therapeutic support, conducting assessments, and implementing treatment plans to enhance the well-being of clients, as well as maintaining up-to-date case notes, regularly. The Licensed Clinical Psychologist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide recommendations for therapy and/or counseling and/or other behavioral health services utilizing evidence-based practices, including motivational interviewing and crisis management techniques. Recommend behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis interventions tailored to clients with developmental disabilities. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards. Engage in clinical research activities to enhance service delivery and improve outcomes for clients. Provide direct support to clients during challenging situations, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field. Maintain current and up-to-date supervision (for Associate Licensed Clinicians). Maintain current or relevant license, including all standards associated with license. Skills Proficiency in clinical psychological testing including testing for Autism, ADHD, and other applicable mental health or psychological conditions. Experience working with individuals with neurodivergence, developmental disabilities and other disabilities, personality disorders, and other mental health conditions. Experience with performing psychological assessments with a variety of individuals, as well as implementing appropriate treatment plans or recommendations, and preparing psychological assessment and evaluation reports. Strong crisis management skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques for effective client engagement. Familiarity with clinical research methodologies relevant to behavioral health. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment while maintaining a client-centered focus. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. •This is a part-time position with room to grow. We are a growing private practice which currently offers mental health counseling and psychiatric medication management, and we are looking to expand our services by also offering psychological testing which is an ever-growing need in our field.
