We currently have multiple openings with opportunities to work from our Vernon Hills and Highland Park offices, with the option to add one day per week in our downtown Chicago location. This position is currently hybrid , combining remote work with in-person services across one or more pediatric clinic sites. PCPA is a distinctive group practice of adult and pediatric mental health professionals embedded within primary care clinics throughout the greater Chicagoland area. Our mission is to advance the integration of behavioral health and medicine by providing accessible, evidence-based psychological care across the lifespan. We pride ourselves on fostering strong collaboration among psychotherapists, primary care physicians, and specialty medical providers to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician passionate about pediatric integrated care and interdisciplinary collaboration. In addition to psychotherapy services, opportunities for psychological assessment and supervision are available. We are seeking clinicians who value teamwork, clinical excellence, and long-term professional growth within a supportive and collaborative practice environment. Position Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between Primary Care Psychology Associates and our medical partners within pediatric clinics Provide same-day "warm handoff" services during pediatric primary care visits, including brief assessment, intervention, and treatment planning Collaborate closely with medical providers regarding psychiatric, psychosocial, and behavioral health concerns Deliver consultation and evidence-based short-term therapy (typically 4-12 sessions) to children and families referred by physicians Provide longer-term psychotherapy when clinically appropriate Conduct psychological evaluations and testing Provide clinical supervision to interns in our APA-Accredited Internship Program and post-doctoral fellowship Qualifications Licensed Clinical Psychologist (postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to apply) Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychological services to pediatric populations Strong interest in integrated behavioral health and collaboration with medical providers Experience in integrated healthcare settings and/or time-limited therapy preferred, but not required Experience and interest in conducting psychological assessments Interest in clinical supervision and training Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced interdisciplinary environment Availability to work at least 2-3 evenings per week Our Ideal Candidate Demonstrates a commitment to clinical excellence and ongoing professional growth Values collaboration and interdisciplinary teamwork Has strong training in evidence-based interventions for a wide range of pediatric mental health concerns Brings experience or interest in health psychology and behavioral medicine Enjoys mentoring and supervising clinicians in training Benefits & Professional Opportunities Hybrid work model with a combination of remote and on-site work Consistent referral stream; no marketing or business development required Opportunity to collaborate with leading pediatric and medical providers throughout the Chicagoland area Full administrative support, including: EHR and intake coordination Scheduling and billing Insurance credentialing HR support and office management Dedicated office space Optional 4-day work week Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off, sick leave, and parental leave Educational stipend and in-house continuing education opportunities Structured mentorship from senior staff during the first year of employment Bi-weekly staff meetings, trainings, and weekly case consultation groups Opportunities to supervise practicum students, APA-accredited interns, and postdoctoral fellows Please submit a CV and cover letter with your application.
