Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive assessments, therapy, and crisis intervention services across diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, schools, and telehealth platforms. Your expertise will help individuals of all ages—children, adolescents, adults, and seniors—navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals. Duties Conduct thorough assessments, including diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment planning. Provide evidence-based psychotherapy using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), group therapy, and trauma-focused interventions like PTSD care. Deliver specialized counseling services for children and families, including working with individuals with autism, disabilities, or behavioral health needs. Manage crisis situations through effective crisis intervention techniques to ensure patient safety and stability. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patient needs and goals. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Participate in research initiatives to advance clinical practices and improve patient outcomes across various populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, and addiction counseling. Requirements Valid licensure as a Psychologist in CA. Proven experience in clinical counseling, psychological testing, and diagnostic evaluation across inpatient and outpatient settings. Strong background in child & family counseling, working with children, autism spectrum disorders, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and behavioral health interventions. Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention techniques and managing acute mental health episodes. Experience working with diverse populations such as individuals with disabilities or geriatrics; familiarity with school-based mental health services is a plus. Proficiency in telehealth platforms for remote patient care delivery. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding medical records management and patient confidentiality.
