Job Description

Join Anchored Psychology Anchored Psychology is seeking a full-time independently licensed psychologist, PhD or PsyD, to join our outpatient private practice in Lexington, Kentucky. This role is a strong fit for a psychologist who wants to provide thoughtful, evidence-based therapy with motivated clients while having the autonomy, flexibility, and practical support of a specialty private practice. Our specialty areas include OCD, anxiety disorders, trauma/PTSD, and perinatal mental health. Treatment approaches commonly include ERP, CBT, CPT, and trauma-focused therapy. We are especially interested in psychologists who are drawn to specialty work, value clinical excellence, and want to build a sustainable caseload in a warm, professional, autonomy-forward practice. About Anchored Psychology Anchored Psychology provides grounded, evidence-based outpatient therapy for children age 6+, adolescents, and adults navigating OCD, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, and perinatal mental health concerns. We are building a practice where clients receive specialized, thoughtful care and clinicians have the structure, referrals, consultation, and independence needed to do excellent work sustainably. Who Would Thrive Here This position may be a good fit if you are self-directed, organized, clinically thoughtful, warm, reliable, and interested in developing or deepening a specialty caseload. Experience with OCD and ERP is preferred, though psychologists with a strong CBT foundation and genuine interest in growing in ERP and specialty anxiety treatment are encouraged to apply. Compensation varies based on caseload, schedule, and collected client fees, which is reflected in the posted salary range. Flexible scheduling with no required evenings or weekends 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching Immediate access to referrals Support building and maintaining a full caseload Furnished office space in a central Lexington location with easy parking In-person and telehealth options HIPAA-compliant EHR, secure telehealth platform, billing support, and administrative systems Practice marketing and referral support Consultation, onboarding, and specialty training resources A warm, professional private practice culture with strong clinician autonomy and practical support The opportunity to specialize in OCD, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and perinatal mental health What You'll Do Provide evidence-based outpatient therapy to children age 6+, adolescents, and adults Work primarily with OCD and OCD-related disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma/PTSD, and perinatal or reproductive mental health concerns Use evidence-based approaches such as ERP, CBT, CPT, and trauma-focused therapy Build toward a full-time caseload Maintain prompt documentation and professional communication Participate in onboarding, consultation, and specialty training as appropriate Collaborate thoughtfully while maintaining independence in your clinical work Engage in clinician-led professional marketing with practice support Pursue specialty areas of interest, including possible couples or family work depending on experience and fit Qualifications Independently Licensed Psychologist in Kentucky, PhD or PsyD Able to provide in-person or hybrid outpatient therapy in Lexington, KY Strong CBT foundation and interest in evidence-based treatment Interest in OCD, ERP, anxiety disorders, trauma-focused therapy, CPT, and/or perinatal mental health Thoughtful, client-centered clinical approach Comfort working independently within a supportive private practice structure Strong organization, follow-through, and documentation habits Interest in building a sustainable specialty caseload over time Ready to Apply?
