Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Special Education School District in Marshall, Michigan, is seeking on-site School Psychologists to support K-12 students. These positions offer a contract opportunity through the 2026-2027 school year, with availability from August 24, 2026, to June 10, 2027. Multiple openings are available, with placement tailored to candidates' experience levels.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students with special needs Collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Providing direct support and intervention strategies to students Delivering services in alignment with district and state guidelines Qualifications and experience desired: Active Michigan School Psychologist license (verification required via the Michigan Department of Education public credential search) Experience working in special education settings, preferably across K-12 grade levels Strong assessment and data interpretation skills Familiarity with special education laws and regulations Ability to work onsite full-time, up to 40 hours per week
