Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students and educators as a school psychologist. This position, located near Fremont, NE, runs from August 10, 2026, through May 25, 2027, and offers 37.5 to 40 hours per week with a schedule from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm daily. The district values flexibility and is open to a hybrid model, allowing you to complete paperwork at home while conducting essential in-person assessments on campus. What we're seeking:
Valid certification and relevant licensure as a school psychologist
Solid experience using Q-Interactive for cognitive and academic testing
Familiarity with conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
Ability to handle frequent cognitive and academic assessments, with some behavioral testing
Knowledge of the Student Support Team (SST) process
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and support teams In this role, you will:
Administer cognitive and academic assessments to support student success
Conduct initial Functional Behavioral Assessments as needed
Provide input and expertise during the SST process
Analyze and present assessment data clearly to school teams
Complete documentation and reports, leveraging opportunities for remote paperwork
Collaborate with school staff and families to develop student support plans
