Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students and educators as a school psychologist. This position, located near Fremont, NE, runs from August 10, 2026, through May 25, 2027, and offers 37.5 to 40 hours per week with a schedule from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm daily. The district values flexibility and is open to a hybrid model, allowing you to complete paperwork at home while conducting essential in-person assessments on campus. What we're seeking:
  • Valid certification and relevant licensure as a school psychologist
  • Solid experience using Q-Interactive for cognitive and academic testing
  • Familiarity with conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
  • Ability to handle frequent cognitive and academic assessments, with some behavioral testing
  • Knowledge of the Student Support Team (SST) process
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and support teams In this role, you will:
  • Administer cognitive and academic assessments to support student success
  • Conduct initial Functional Behavioral Assessments as needed
  • Provide input and expertise during the SST process
  • Analyze and present assessment data clearly to school teams
  • Complete documentation and reports, leveraging opportunities for remote paperwork
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to develop student support plans
