Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a dynamic School Psychologist in a K-8 educational environment located near Boise, ID. This opportunity offers the flexibility of an onsite or hybrid schedule, providing meaningful impact while balancing your professional and personal commitments. You'll play an integral part in helping students thrive during the academic year, working approximately 6-8 hours each week from August through the end of the school year.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist Previous experience working with K-8 students preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Proficient in assessment, intervention planning, and data-driven practices Ability to support students in both general and special education settingsCore Responsibilities:
Conduct student evaluations and assessments to identify areas of need Deliver evidence-based counseling and interventions for students individually and in small groups Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and monitor behavioral and academic interventions Contribute to IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student support plans Maintain thorough documentation and uphold confidentiality of student records Support positive learning environments and promote student well-beingBenefits & Perks:
