Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract We are seeking qualified School Psychologists to join a large, well-established department within San Francisco Unified School District for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a high-priority need with strong support systems already in place.

San Francisco Schedule:
37.5 hours per week
Assignment Dates:
August 11, 2026 - June 2, 2027
Setting:
Onsite only (in-person required)
Work Model:
Primarily onsite; open to travelers and potential 4:1 hybrid schedule
Department Overview:
Join a large, collaborative team of approximately 118 School Psychologists District is seeking strong, reliable professionals to support current needs and maintain high service standards
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations Interpret assessment data and prepare compliant reports Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student success
Requirements:
Valid School Psychologist license/credential (required) Must hold appropriate educator credential (School Psychologist only; counseling licenses will not be considered) Experience in school-based settings preferred Strong assessment, report writing, and collaboration skills Compensation for this position ranges from $47.88 to $67.88.
