Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of students by providing essential psychological services across various grade levels, from early childhood through high school. This contract opportunity spans the upcoming academic year, with positions available for talented professionals eager to support students' academic, emotional, and behavioral growth. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with dedicated education teams and families to deliver comprehensive services in a supportive school setting. Serving a diverse range of students (PK-12), you'll find opportunities to hone your skills in a dynamic, collegial environment with flexible work options — full-time onsite is preferred, but a hybrid schedule (three days onsite, two days offsite) is also available.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for such credentials Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field Experience working with students from preschool to secondary preferred Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills Ability to collaborate with educational teams and families effectively Flexibility to work with varying caseload sizes and student needs Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conducting student assessments and interpreting results Participating in IEP and ESR meetings Providing consultation and support to teachers, staff, and parents Addressing social-emotional and behavioral needs through direct services or intervention planning Collaborating with school teams to ensure appropriate services and supports for PK-12 students This assignment runs from August 20th through June 11th, following the staff and student school calendar, with 37.5 hours per week onsite or in a hybrid capacity.
