School Psychologist (Hybrid) - K-12 Evaluator Collegiate Charter School of Lowell - 2.1 Lowell, MA Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications Special education law Educational compliance and regulation understanding Full Job Description School Psychologist (Hybrid) - K-12 Evaluator We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled School Psychologist to support students in grades Kindergarten through Grade 12 through comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation services. This position is ideal for a collaborative professional who values high-quality assessment practices, strong report writing, and meaningful participation in special education team processes. A doctoral-level candidate is preferred; however, experienced candidates with strong school-based evaluation experience are encouraged to apply. Position Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students in grades K-12 Complete educational record reviews and analyze student history and progress data Conduct classroom and behavioral observations Write clear, thorough, and legally compliant evaluation reports Participate in IEP Team meetings and communicate findings effectively with families and staff Collaborate with special education administrators, related service providers, and school personnel Ensure evaluations and documentation meet state and federal special education regulations and timelines Qualifications Massachusetts licensure/certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for licensure) Doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) preferred Experience conducting evaluations across a wide age range (K-12 preferred) Strong knowledge of special education regulations, assessment tools, and eligibility determination processes Excellent written communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships with school teams Position Details Hybrid work model available (up to two days per week remote) Flexible scheduling options may be considered Primarily focused on evaluations, observations, record reviews, report writing, and meeting participation Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Preferred Skills Experience with a variety of cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessment measures Familiarity with Massachusetts special education procedures and timelines Ability to manage multiple evaluations and deadlines efficiently Interested candidates should submit a resume and copies of licensure/certification for consideration.
