Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Exciting opportunities are available for experienced and dedicated School Psychologists seeking a contract role for the 2026-27 school year near Bridgeport, CT. This position is open to full-time candidates (32.5 hours per week) but can accommodate part-time schedules as well. In-person work is required, though hybrid arrangements are now possible for qualified applicants. Your primary responsibility will be conducting evaluations on a regular basis, so comfort and confidence with this process is essential. The role requires Connecticut certification; however, candidates in the process of obtaining their certification are encouraged to apply and will be considered for interviews. Bilingual School Psychologists are especially encouraged, with additional compensation available.
Key Qualifications:
Connecticut certification in School Psychology (pending certification considered) Experience in performing comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational and documentation skills Proficiency in English; bilingual candidates welcomed and compensated accordingly Commitment to delivering services in person; hybrid schedule potential for select applicants
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct timely and thorough psychological assessments and evaluations for students Provide consultation and support to teachers, staff, and families on student learning and behavior Develop data-driven recommendations and intervention plans Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions Maintain accurate and confidential student records
