Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a real impact supporting students across PreK-12th grade as a dedicated School Psychologist in a contract role available near Newark, OH. This full-time opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week and supports both in-person and potential hybrid work arrangements, making it a flexible fit for skilled professionals passionate about school-based psychological services. What you'll need to bring: Valid School Psychologist certification Experience with PreK-12th grade student populations is preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Adaptability for hybrid schedules (if applicable) Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality What you'll do: Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students across all grade levels Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and well-being Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans Provide consultation, counseling, and crisis intervention as needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school support initiatives Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Take advantage of the chance to serve a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels in a supportive and collaborative school environment.
