Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A licensed School Psychologist is needed for a telehealth-based contract position servicing schools in Dothan, AL. This role supports students and educators by providing psychological assessments, counseling, and consultation services through remote platforms, ensuring accessibility and timely intervention. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, analyzing data to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with educators and families to support student mental health, and delivering counseling sessions via telehealth. The contract nature of this 1099 role requires flexibility and self-management skills while maintaining compliance with state regulations and professional ethical standards.
Key qualifications and experience:
Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Proficiency in telehealth service delivery and related technologies Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational law Experience collaborating with school personnel and families remotely Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and FERPA guidelines Excellent communication and documentation skills This contract position offers the flexibility of remote work while making a meaningful impact on student well-being in the Dothan community.
