Job Description

Psychologist / Psychometrist (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Location:
Bristol, RI About Our Practice We are a small, patient-centered psychological practice dedicated to providing high-quality assessment and treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults. Our team values clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate care. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Psychologist or Psychometrist to join our growing practice and assist with neuropsychological and psychological evaluations. Position Summary The Psychologist/Psychometrist will be responsible for administering, scoring, and documenting a variety of neuropsychological and psychological assessment measures. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals across the lifespan and possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and clinical skills. Responsibilities Administer and score neuropsychological, cognitive, academic, behavioral, and psychological assessment measures. Conduct clinical interviews and gather relevant background information when appropriate. Maintain accurate testing records and documentation. Assist with report preparation, data interpretation, and clinical summaries, depending on qualifications and licensure. Collaborate with psychologists and other providers regarding assessment findings and recommendations. Ensure adherence to ethical, professional, and testing standards. Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and families.
Qualifications For Licensed Psychologists:
Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.

D.) in Psychology from an accredited program. Current state licensure (or license eligibility). Training and experience in neuropsychological and psychological assessment. Strong report-writing and diagnostic skills preferred.
For Psychometrists:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or a related field. Experience administering standardized psychological and neuropsychological assessments preferred. Knowledge of test administration procedures, scoring, and data management. Certification as a psychometrist is a plus but not required. Preferred Experience Experience with ADHD, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorders, traumatic brain injury, dementia, and other neurological or psychiatric conditions. Familiarity with commonly used assessment instruments such as the WAIS, WISC, WPPSI, WIAT, Woodcock-Johnson, CVLT, RVLT, ADOS2, and related measures. Experience working in outpatient private practice settings. Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation based on credentials and experience.
