Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A travel opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services to students in a school setting located in Westerly, RI. This role involves working directly with children and educational staff to support student mental health, learning assessments, and intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success. Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience conducting assessments and developing IEPs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff. Ability to travel and adapt to different school environments.
Location:
Westerly, Rhode Island — travel required.
