Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a School Psychologist to provide specialized support within multiple educational settings through travel assignments based in Westerly, RI. The role involves working closely with students, educators, and families to assess and address a variety of psychological and educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student needs and develop appropriate interventions Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create supportive learning environments Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to educational planning Implement strategies to promote positive behavioral and emotional development Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing academic or social challenges Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports on student progress and assessment outcomes
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting assessments and developing IEPs in school settings Strong knowledge of educational laws, psychological testing, and intervention strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse student populations Willingness to travel between assigned school locations as part of the role

Travel assignment based in Westerly, Rhode Island, serving multiple school sites in surrounding areas
