Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a role where you can make a meaningful difference for K-12 students as a School Psychologist in the beautiful coastal region of South Carolina. These contract positions begin in August 2026 and continue through June 2027, offering a unique opportunity to work onsite within vibrant school communities in both Beaufort and Bluffton. As a School Psychologist, you'll play a key part in fostering student growth, supporting academic achievement, and advocating for mental wellness alongside dedicated educators and support staff. What we're looking for: Valid South Carolina School Psychologist certification (or eligibility) Experience working with K-12 students Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to ethical standards and best practices in school psychology Adaptability to different school environments across multiple sites What you'll be doing: Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments for students from kindergarten through twelfth grade Providing individual and group counseling services Consulting with teachers and parents to develop effective learning and behavior strategies Contributing to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Supporting school-wide mental health initiatives and crisis intervention Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and state guidelines You'll have the satisfaction of supporting diverse learners across two dynamic communities with varied caseloads.
