Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in educational psychology to a dynamic contract position working with K-12 students. This opportunity provides the chance to have a meaningful impact by supporting students' social, emotional, and academic development in an onsite setting for the full 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist Demonstrated experience conducting assessments, writing reports, and delivering counseling in school environments Familiarity with evidence-based interventions, IEP participation, and collaborative consultation with educators and families Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Flexibility to adapt to varying caseload needs as assignment details are finalizedPrimary Responsibilities:
Administer psychoeducational and behavioral assessments to identify student strengths and needs Develop and interpret reports for eligibility, special education, and intervention planning Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to inform educational planning and services Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and monitor effective interventions Provide individual and group counseling as needed to reduce barriers to learning Support positive behavior frameworks and promote a supportive, inclusive school climate Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines This position spans a school year calendar, offering a standard full-time weekly schedule so you can enjoy a blend of stability and variety.
