Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity serving K-12 students as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year! This contract position offers two exciting onsite openings in vibrant communities, with opportunities to work in both Beaufort and Bluffton. Your expertise in psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention will make a genuine difference in the lives of students and support their growth throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred Strong skills in counseling, assessments, and development of IEPs/504 plans Solid understanding of educational law and ethical practices Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability to work onsite and adapt to the diverse needs of school communitiesPrimary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for students across all grade levels Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans Provide counseling and intervention strategies for students, including crisis management and behavioral support as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success and provide consultation on academic and behavioral concerns Support multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and positive behavioral intervention initiativesBenefits & Perks:
