As a School Psychologist for the Promising Students Program, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive, trauma-informed behavioral and mental health interventions. What you'll bring: Valid School Psychologist credential/certification (state eligibility required) Demonstrated experience with behavioral counseling and trauma-informed care Skilled in conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments Knowledge of Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) process Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Strong communication and consultation skills for teamwork with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams Ability to contribute meaningfully to IEP and Section 504 meetings Key responsibilities: Deliver individual and small-group counseling Perform comprehensive educational and behavioral evaluations Complete FBAs and help develop & monitor BIPs Support the MTSS framework across the district Partner with staff and caregivers to strengthen student support Play an active role in crisis response and safety planning Develop detailed transition plans for student reintegration This full-time position spans 37.5 hours per week and offers a dynamic environment dedicated to student growth, emotional wellness, and inclusive practices.
