Key Qualifications:

Hold current or be eligible for South Carolina School Psychologist certification (out-of-state applicants welcome if eligible) In-depth knowledge of South Carolina Special Education laws and procedures Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a school psychologist within school settings, focusing on elementary-aged students Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills with a passion for helping diverse populations thrive Dedicated to onsite work throughout the contract term, providing consistent support and building strong relationships with students and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and participate in student support teams Develop and implement intervention strategies for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure all students receive appropriate services Contribute to Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings by offering expert insights and recommendations Provide crisis intervention and support, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment Deliver professional development and guidance for school staff on best practices in social-emotional learning and behavior management
