We are specifically seeking clinicians with experience administering structured psychiatric interviews and clinician-rated outcome assessments. About the Opportunity Circle Clinical is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Rater to support its growing Psychiatry and CNS clinical trial portfolio. This role is responsible for administering sponsor-required psychiatric, cognitive, and behavioral assessments for industry-sponsored clinical trials. Applicants must have prior experience administering structured psychiatric interviews and standardized clinician-rated assessments (e.g., SCID-5, MINI, MADRS, HAM-D, HAM-A, YMRS, PANSS, CAPS-5, CGI, C-SSRS or comparable sponsor-required instruments). Applicants without prior clinician-rated psychiatric assessment experience will not be considered. What You Will Do
  • Administer sponsor-required psychiatric, cognitive, and behavioral rating scales.
  • Conduct structured and semi-structured clinical interviews according to protocol.
  • Review psychiatric and medical history to support eligibility.
  • Accurately score and document assessments while maintaining inter-rater reliability.
  • Complete sponsor-required rater certifications and recertifications.
  • Maintain ALCOA-C compliant source documentation following
GCP, ICH, FDA
regulations, and site SOPs.
  • Monitor participant safety and promptly escalate concerns to the Principal Investigator.
  • Respond to sponsor and monitor queries.
  • Participate in sponsor meetings, monitoring visits, and quality initiatives.
  • What We Are Looking For
  • Master's degree required in psychology, counseling, social work, nursing, neuroscience, medicine, or related behavioral health field.
  • Minimum one year administering clinician-rated psychiatric assessments.
  • Experience with SCID-5, MINI, MADRS, HAM-D/HDRS, HAM-A, PANSS, YMRS, CAPS-5, C-SSRS, CGI, Y-BOCS, PHQ-9, QIDS-SR, or comparable sponsor-required scales.
  • Understanding of
GCP, ICH, FDA
regulations, and clinical research.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with investigators, coordinators, sponsors, and CROs. Preferred Background
  • Psychiatry/CNS clinical trial experience.
  • Current or recent sponsor rater certifications.
  • Experience with central rating organizations or electronic source systems.
  • Demonstrated history maintaining sponsor-required inter-rater reliability.

Compensation $55.00-$80.00 per hour (DOE, certifications, and research experience)
