Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding assignment supporting students and teams in a vibrant educational environment near Chattanooga, TN. This full-time, contract opportunity spans the first semester, from August 4th through the end of December, and calls for a dedicated professional to provide school psychology services across two consecutive maternity leave coverages. Your workweek will consist of 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday, ensuring consistent support for staff, students, and families. The initial assignment begins at a dynamic elementary campus serving 500 students, where your expertise will have a direct and positive impact on their success. Collaborate closely with educational staff, participate in IEP meetings, and implement comprehensive evaluations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification as a School Psychologist (state credentials required) Experience in educational settings, preferably elementary Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Knowledge of MTSS/RTI and IEP processes Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities Commitment to ethical, student-centered practice
