Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting K-12 students across a dynamic county-wide school system. As a School Psychologist, your expertise will have a meaningful impact on student well-being, development, and educational success. Working full-time, Monday through Friday from 8am to 3pm, you'll engage with diverse learners and collaborate with dedicated educational teams throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Experience providing assessments, counseling, and interventions in educational settings Familiarity with K-12 student populations and an understanding of their unique developmental stages Strong communication skills to consult with teachers, administrators, and families Ability to work autonomously and travel to multiple schools within the county Organizational skills to manage documentation, reporting, and compliance with educational standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for students in grades K-12 Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to staff and families Develop and support implementation of intervention and counseling strategies Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expert recommendations Collaborate with teachers and administrators to address student and classroom needs Monitor and document student progress, complying with applicable guidelines and timelines Promote a positive, inclusive school climate that supports mental health and academic growth Imagine making a genuine difference for students from a variety of backgrounds while enjoying a structured weekday schedule and the chance to contribute your skills to an entire county's educational network.
